Olympia weekend Man's physique category return in full force today showcasing a familiar line up showcasing powerhouse names and bodies with may hold overs from as year inaugural competition. 18 competitors who lined up on stage show the diversion whats it really about and whats its really coming into its own standards. The results it brings is well conditioned but not to dry has to be perfectly symmetrical from shoulders to board shorts, muscular but not gigantic like bodybuilders.

although all this athletes look amazing and look like they belong on the cover of a magazine. Jeremy Buendia excellent front pose was an insane V- taper and brought him the trophy. After coming second place against Mark Anthony and since then his been eager to win '' It was a long year'' said Buendia and had thing in mind is to win.

top 5 Mans physique placing
1st Jeremy Buendia
2nd Sadik Hadzovic
3rd Jason Poston
4th Matt Acton
5th Steve Cook

The first names that were call out during the pre judging brought Matt Aton, Jeremy Buendia, Sadik Hadzovic, Steve Cook, Jason Poston and Mark Anthony Wingson to the center of the stage. The judges took their time re configuring  and look at each of the athlete side by side comparisons.

Jeremy Buendea and Sadik Hadzovic were place next to each other on the center of the stage Hadzovic look fantastic as always but was it enough? this two were placed next to each other majority of the round.

Other athletes also look great one of the is Steve Cook just a month out from his victory at Dalas Pro. but his shoulder and small waist wasn't enough comparing to what Buendia and Hadzovic offered. Even tho there was debate among's the crowd about his placing but he did better this year than last year were he come 8th, it was big improvement for Cook.

Other athlets that did really well this year and brought great packages to the competition  are Jason Poston and Matt action and each have a pair of IFBB victories since last years Olympia. Posto move up and finish two spots that he did last year which is a big improvements for Poston, Acton in the the other hand move down a place that he did last year. Wasgson the winner of last years Man's Physique move down 5 spots and was lucky to squeeze into first call out but ultimately fell down outside of the top five spots.

Other athletes came forward for the second call out Micheal Anderson, Anton Antipov, Tory Woodward, and Xavisus Gayden all five guys presented an amazing physique that could easily won other shows but it wasn't enough for this Olympia were only the top absolute best make the top placing.

There was a lot of tension from the crowd. After a long confirmation the judges brought Jeremy Buendia and Sadik Hadzovi for the top two positions at the center of the stage for another round side by side posing. after few tense moments of anticipation the decision was made and called out Hadzovic for second and Buendia took honors with a big cheers from the crowd.

Marketing perspective Man's Physique slowly evolving to a big division more and more competitors competing and a lot of sponsors supporting the the division and well be something to watch in the future. More top athletes are being sponsored by big supplements companies as the sport evolves.
Management perceptive as the new division evolves more and more people are interested on the sport it kinda promotes Olympia federation to be watch by millions and to be known sport in the world.

Jeremy Buendia took his body and his career to the next level, unseating Mark Anthony Wingson to earn the 2014 Men's Physique Olympia crown. Here's how it went down!
The Olympia Weekend's Men's Physique category returned in full force today, showcasing a powerhouse lineup of familiar names and bodies, with many holdovers from last year's inaugural competition. As with the women's division, the 18 guys who lined the stage showed that the division is truly coming into its own both with the standards that it sets and the results it brings. Everyone came in well-conditioned but not too dry, muscular but not gigantic, and perfectly symmetrical from shoulders to board shorts.
Although all the men on stage looked like they belonged on the cover of a magazine, Jeremy Buendia's insane V-taper and excellent front pose brought him the trophy. Buendia obviously used what he learned from his runner-up finish last year to improve upon his already-great physique.
JEREMY BUENDIA
SADIK HADZOVIC
"It was a long year," said Buendia to emcee Bob Cicherillo. "Coming off last year's second place, I had one thing on my mind, and that was to win."

During prejudging, the first callout brought Matt Acton, Jeremy Buendia, Sadik Hadzovic, Steve Cook, Jason Poston, and Mark Anthony Wingson to center stage. The judges took plenty of time reconfiguring the competitors' positions so they could get a look at each guy in side-by-side comparisons.
Hadzovic looked fantastic, as he always does. The competition between him and Buendia was tough, as the two were placed next to each other in the center for the majority of the round.
Cook also looked great just a month out from his victory at the Dallas Pro, but he couldn't match the broad shoulders and small waist that Hadzovic and Buendia offered. Although he—and the crowd—may not have been thrilled with that decision, it was a big improvement from his 8th-place finish last year.
JASON POSTON
MATT ACTON
STEVE COOK
MARK A. WINGSON
Poston and Acton both brought great packages to the competition. They've both competed really well this year, and with each having a pair of IFBB victories to their name since last year's Olympia, expectations were clearly high. Poston's finish was two spots better than he earned last year, whereas Acton slipped down a place. Wingson—last year's champ—managed to squeeze into the first callout, but was ultimately on the outside of the top five looking in.
Michael Anderson, Anton Antipov, Tyler Anderson, Tory Woodward, and Xavisus Gayden came forward for the second callout. All five of the guys presented physiques that could easily have won other shows. But this is the Olympia, and only the absolute best make it to the top tier.
After a long confirmation round, the judges brought back Buendia and Hadzovic for another round of side-by-side posing. That one last round gave the audience a peek at who the judges would put in the top two positions. After a few tense moments of anticipation, the judges called out Hadzovic for second. Buendia took his honors, with big cheers from the crowd.

Can he be stop! Flex Lewis win his third consecutive 212 showdown! Review

Article Analysis 4: Flex Lewis blew away the competition to win his third consecutive 212 showdown!

Sport code: 212 Division Bodybuilding

Source: bodybuilding.com

Date: September 18, 2014

50th Olympia 212 showdown Flex Lowis vying for the three-peat and challenger Eduardo Correa trying for his first title attempt it was two horse-race in the end.
Thought Flex brought a great package with a much-improve back and his textbook stellar conditioning but Corrrea was up to the challenge. After pre judging source says that's it was a close one and would likely come down tom the final pose.

Competitors seemed to tighten up for  the morning show with Correa perhaps the exception who seemed maybe just a hair softer. He still was  one of the most condition men on stage

212 division winner Flex Lowis.
Flex got bit scare from Correa but int end his size symmetry. aesthetics and conditioning was spot on and enough to overcome anyone. He well continue to make improvements in the future like he did on his back to hold off top challeges like Correa.
On an interview with Flex lowis romure that he would be switching to open class in saying that he wants to creat a legacy. A great news for 212 funs but this also means that Correa will have to bring his best next year if he hopes to win.

Flex victory was even more impressive given that he has battled stomach illness this weekend aftre accepting the trophy he told the crowd that he wanted to win this Olympia more than any ever were all part of history he said.
second place runner up Eduardo correa wasn't as surprise after all he has never finish out of the top five line up in his four previous Olympia competitions. Correa pushed flex to the edge but fading from pre judging cost him shot at the tittle In the future he well be a big contender to flex and well likely to challenge for the titte for some time.

3rd place runner up Jose Raymond as always looks freaky as hell conditioning is always spot on and always come as lean as possible a will deserve 3rd place.

Other amazing athletes that took part on the 50th Olympia Hidetada Yamagishi who came 4th  Baito Abbaspour who came 5th and Aaron Clark who took 6th place. This guys such and amazing athletes but wasn't good enough to make it to the top.

Marketing perspective more and more poeple are interested in the sport because high prize money and recognition to be the best bodybuilder in the world the sport has diffenatly involving.
As for management as the division evolve more and more lightweight bodybuilder will compete for the tittle an surely a way to promote the division.

There was never a doubt. On a historic night, Flex Lewis blew away the competition to win his third consecutive 212 showdown!

There was never a doubt. On a historic night, Flex Lewis blew away the competition to win his third consecutive 212 showdown! none as shocking as the absence of David Henry from the top callouts. But the real story—just as it has been for the last two years—was James "Flex" Lewis
In the end it was a two-horse race, with Lewis vying for a three-peat and challenger Eduardo Correa vying for his first title in five attempts. Flex brought a great package with a much-improved back and his textbook stellar conditioning, but Correa was up to the challenge. After prejudging, I learned from a source that the judging was quite close, and it would likely come down to the final pose.
All of the competitors seemed to tighten up from the morning show, with the exception of perhaps Correa, who seemed maybe just a hair softer. That said, he was still one of the most conditioned men onstage.

FLEX LEWIS

1ST
 JAMES "FLEX" LEWIS

Flex got a bit of a scare from Correa, but in the end his combination of size, symmetry, aesthetics, and conditioning were enough to overcome everyone. He will need to continue to make improvements like he did with his back in order to hold off challengers like Correa.
In a post-competition interview, Flex put to rest rumors that he would be switching to open class, saying that he wants to "create a legacy." This is good news for 212 fans, but it also means Correa will have to bring his A-game next year if he hopes to grab the win.
Flex's victory was even more impressive given that, as he admitted onstage after accepting the trophy, he has battled stomach illness this weekend. Nevertheless, he was clearheaded enough to know that his victory had special meaning tonight. "I wanted to win this Olympia more than any, ever," he told the crowd. "We're all part of history."

2ND
 EDUARDO CORREA

Don't act too surprised. After all, this is a man who has never finished outside of the top five in his four previous trips to the Olympia stage. Correa pushed Flex to the edge, but in the end fading from prejudging to finals appeared to cost him a shot at the title. It was still an amazing showing and he will likely be challenging for the title for some time.

3RD
 JOSE RAYMOND

Say whatever you want about his aesthetics. Jose is freaky as hell and always comes in as lean as possible. His is a well-deserved third-place finish.

EDUARDO CORREA
JOSE RAYMOND
HIDETADA YAMAGISHI
BAITO ABBASPOUR

4TH
 HIDETADA YAMAGISHI

Hide's 212 Showdown debut had much fanfare, but in the end it came up a bit short. He was slightly flat—unlike the incredible conditioning that he brought in the past as an open-class competitor—and that cost him a spot in the top three.

5TH
 BAITO ABBASPOUR

A combination of great size and conditioning moved Abbaspour into the top five. He has some aesthetic problems, but he will likely be a perennial top-five finisher if he can keep bringing the conditioning he showed tonight.

6TH
 AARON CLARK

Clark has great muscle bellies and symmetry, but to really make a dent into the top three he will need to nail his conditioning better than he did this year.

Date:September 18, 2014

50th edition O of Joe Wieder Olympia was on this Saturday night at las Vegas were Phil heath outlasted rival kai Greene the final two wound up as no surprise Phil Heath claim for the third year in a row to claim consecutive Mr. Olympia tittle.

Shawn Rhoden took home the bronze medal although third place finisher it was surprise of many signifying that the top podium in coming years will be less predictable.

Place                                       Name                            Prize
1                                            Phil Heath                        $275,000
2                                             Kai Greene                     $130,000
3                                          Shawn Rhoden                     $90,000
4                                            Dennis Wolf                       $55,000
5                                           Dexter Jackson                  $45,000
6                                       Branch Warren                       $35,000
7                                            Mamdouh Elssbiay        $25,000
8                                        Victor Martinez                   $20,000
9                                            Steve Kuclo                      $19,000
10                                             Juan Morel                   $16,000

Legends such as Franco Columbo, Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Swhwarzenegger. Due to momentous occasion before the contest began it made a point to pay tribute to the legends who made 50th olympia possible they took the stage before kicking things off for the night.

As for the 17 competitors on the hunt for the title of Mr. Olympia Dominance of Heath and Greene most figured and intense in recent years.

The rivalry between the two has been the headline act of the sport for the better part of the past three years since Heath began winning his tittles. The past two shows undoubtedly crushing blow as Green wound up as the runner-up .The difference between the two so minuscule and the final decision left in the hands of the judges.

The two were throwing jobs at one another as always at the entertaining press conference before the big competition Heath spoke before the event about the adjustments in order to fend the competition that painted a target on his back as captured By Roger Lockridge.

" Every year is different. No prep is the same. We see different weaknesses and body parts to bring up. I change the diet. My trainer and I make adjustments all the time, and we had to change a lot. The cardio that worked last year didn't work this year. Same with training, so we changed it.
I actually enjoy the prep because I know how to execute, and many guys don't know how to do that. And I go by fact: I won every Olympia with a perfect score."

After the 17 competitors ran thier place three obvious names wer called Dennis Wolf, Heat and Greene were called to the forefront in the first call-out.

Rhoden was one shocker as a pro bodybuilder Layne Norton noted during the call-outs Rhoden and wolf fighting for the spot behind the top two.

Marketing perspective i think Phil Heath is a good ambassador of the sport as his the best bodybuilder out of 17 competitors and won the tittle four times. As this is a good promotion for his new company gifted nutrition. And for the Olympia federation.

Mr. Olympia 2014 Results: Winner, Highlights, Prize Money and Twitter Reaction

Phil Heath outlasted rival Kai Greene for the third year in a row to claim his fourth consecutive Mr. Olympia title Saturday night in Las Vegas at the 50th edition of Joe Weider's Olympia.
The final two wound up as no surprise, although third-place finisher Shawn Rhoden took home the bronze medal to the surprise of many, signifying that the top of the podium in coming years will be less predictable.
NPC News Online captured the moment:
The 50th edition of the spectacle came equipped with the largest purse to date. Here is a look at how the top 10 shaped up:
PlaceNamePrize
1Phil Heath$275,000
2Kai Greene$130,000
3Shawn Rhoden$90,000
4Dennis Wolf$55,000
5Dexter Jackson$45,000
6Branch Warren$35,000

8Victor Martinez$20,000
9Steve Kuclo$19,000

Due to the momentous occasion, before the contest began, it made a point to pay homage to those who paved the way to make show No. 50 a possibility. Legends such as Franco Columbu, Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman and Arnold Schwarzenegger took the stage to kick things off for the night:
As for the 17 competitors on the hunt for the title of 2014 Mr. Olympia, most figured to take a backseat to the dominance of Heath and Greene in recent years.
The Heath-Greene rivalry has been the headline act of the sport for the better part of the past three years since Heath began winning his titles. Greene wound up as the runner-up at the past two shows, an undoubtedly crushing blow with the differences between the two so minuscule and the final decision left in the hands of the judges.
Of course, the two were throwing jabs at one another—as always—at the always-entertaining press conference before the big competition
Heath spoke before the event about the adjustments he was sure to make in order to fend off the competition that had painted a target on his back, as captured by Roger Lockridge of Bodybuilding.com:
Every year is different.
And I go by fact: I won every Olympia with a perfect score.
After the 17 competitors ran their paces individually, three obvious names were called to the forefront in the first call-out—Dennis Wolf, Heath and Greene.
There was one shocker, too, in Rhoden. As pro bodybuilder Layne Norton noted during the call-outs, Wolf and Rhoden figured to be fighting for the same spot behind the top two.
